Local Students Graduate from Western New England University

Six students from Ellington and Somers were amongst the graduates.

The following students received degrees from Western New England University.

Michael J. Grinaski, of Ellington, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree. Grinaski graduated Cum Laude. This honor signifies scholastic excellence and is awarded at graduation to students who have achieved a grade point average between 3.30 and 3.60.

Sarah M. Garlick, of Somers, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. Garlick graduated Cum Laude. This honor signifies scholastic excellence and is awarded at graduation to students who have achieved a grade point average between 3.30 and 3.60.

Matthew E. Cartier, of Ellington, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree. Cartier graduated Summa Cum Laude, which signifies scholastic excellence and is awarded at graduation to students who have achieved a grade point average of 3.80 and above.

Brewster T. Knowlton, of Somers, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Knowlton graduated Summa Cum Laude, which signifies scholastic excellence and is awarded at graduation to students who have achieved a grade point average of 3.80 and above.

Conor G. Moore, of Ellington, graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Moore graduated With Honors which recognizes students enrolled in the University's Honors Program.

Joseph E. Fortier, of Ellington, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree.
