Local Residents Named to President's List at Goodwin College

Goodwin College is pleased to announce that 173 students have achieved President's List status for the Summer 2012 Session, achieving a perfect GPA of 4.0 in a variety of degree and certificate programs.

Here are the local students who achieved President's List status:

Marisa Lauria, Ellington

Heather Stavens, Ellington

Sapphire Williams, Ellington

"Making the list is no trivial achievement," said Goodwin College President Mark E. Scheinberg. "Many of our students have had their difficulties in various academic environments. At Goodwin, they've found a place where their academic skills have blossomed, and I am very proud of their progress and accomplishments."

Goodwin has about 3,200 students enrolled in classes and is one of the fastest growing accredited institutions in the state of Connecticut.
