Knights Bow Out of Tournament

The Ellington High School boys' lacrosse team fell 17-4 to Joel Barlow on Saturday.

The boys' lacrosse team fell 17-4 to in the quarterfinals of the Class S state tournament. 

Brian Borbas scored two goals for Ellington. Zack Palmer and Lukas Horvath each added a goal for the Knights.

Kevin Bostiga made seven saves for No. 11 Ellington.

No. 3 Joel Barlow (14-3) was led by Nolan Stauffer who had seven goals and four assists.

Goalie Zack Upton made eight saves in the win.

Ellington finishes the season at 9-9. Joel Barlow will take on No. 2 Stonington (16-1) on Wednesday.
