Northern Connecticut Vegetarian Society Potluck

Come to the Holiday Potluck by the Northern Connecticut Vegetarian Society. Personal Chef Mary Lawrence will be featured and will be demonstrating vegan treats for the Holidays and share samples of these delicious treats with attendees. Lawrence specializes in vegan nutrition and is the owner of Well on Wheels, LLC, Connecticut's premier personal chef service which provides organic, gluten-free vegan whole foods meals prepared in clients' homes, nutrition counseling services, private cooking and raw foods lessons.  In 2007, she published the cookbook, Quick and Easy Vegan Cuisine.

To round out the evening, there will be a Vegan Potluck.  Everyone is welcome who wants to improve their health and the health of our world. Attendees should bring a healthy vegan dish to share and a card with its recipe and the attendee's name. Vegan denotes no animal ingredients (zero dairy, honey, eggs, meat or fish). There are 2 serving tables - one for "conventional vegan" food and one for "raw" foods.  Also, please bring a place setting (plate, cup and utensils).

The society asks for a donation of $9 per adult (to cover expenses, such as hall rental). Children are free.
