Enfield School Administrator From Ellington Resigns

Enfield's chief financial officer has resigned, according to a Central Connecticut Post report.

This is the second job Anthony Littizzio has resigned from in the past two years. He served for three decades as the director of business services for the Ellington school district, the CentralCTPost reported.

Littizzio, who was hired by Enfield Public Schools in May of 2012 resigned from a financial administrative position in Ellington following an investigation into his management of district accounts.

While specific allegations agains Littizzio were not revealed, Patch reported in 2012 that he had been placed on administrative leave by the Ellington superintendent, and asked to turn in his district-associated equipment, keys and was not permitted on district property.

The Ellington board of education soon voted to accept his resignation.

Littizzio was hired in May of 2012 in Enfield, and was contracted to make just over $110,000 each year of his contract.
