Ellington, Somers Schools Changing Schedule Due to Hurricane Sandy

The towns are amongst many in the state that are dismissing early and closing.

Somers schools are now closed for Monday.

In preparation for Hurricane Sandy, the Ellington and Somers school districts are taking precautions.

Somers will be dismissing early on Monday - 10:30 a.m. for the high school and middle school, and at 11:15 a.m. for the elementary school.

The schools will be closed on Tuesday.

In Ellington, schools will be closed on both Monday and Tuesday.
