Ellington Board of Eduction Holding Budget Workshop This Saturday, Jan. 11

The Ellington Board of Education and the school district’s administrative team are meeting on Saturday, January 11 to discuss the 2014-2015 education budget. 

This budget workshop will consist of a series of presentations from the administrative team. Presentations will begin at 8:30 a.m. and are expected to continue through the early afternoon. The workshop will be held at the administrative building located at 47 Main Street, Ellington.

Ellington citizens are welcome and encouraged to attend. The presentations will include key drivers of the budget, discussion of the budgets for each school, and presentations on technology, educational services, and special services.

After completing the budget workshop, the Ellington Board of Education will vote on the budget at its next regularly scheduled meeting on January 22, 2014.  Once approved by the Board of Education, the budget proposal will be presented to the Ellington Board of Finance.
