Ellington Advances in Boys Lacrosse

The Knights knocked off Lewis Mills on Wednesday in the Class S state tournament.

The boys lacrosse team defeated No. 6 Lewis Mills 17-6 on Wednesday in the first round of the Class S state tournament.

No. 11 Ellington was led by Zack Palmer who scored four goals.

Brian Borbas, Connor Defemia, Aaron Daley, Luke Horvath and C.J. Schiessl each had two goals.

Logan Marcus, Cam Mozzer and Zack Hazzard had one goal each in the win.

Goalkeeper Kevin Bostiga had eight saves for Ellington (9-8).

Ellington travels to No. 3 Joel Barlow (13-3) for a quarterfinal matchup.
