Bears Too Tough for Spartans
Granby once again defeated the Somers High School boys' lacrosse team.
The boys' lacrosse team fell 8-4 to visiting Granby on Thursday.
Jesse Freedman led the way for the Bears with two goals and an assist, and Gerry Maroney also scored two goals.
Dave Gullenberg, Brendan Leonardi, Zach Brown, and Jesse Parker all scored for Granby.

Somers (11-4) travels to Rockville on Monday. Granby (12-3) travels to Newington the same day.
