After successful regular seasons, both the and girls' basketball teams are headed to the post season.
In Class M, No. 3 Ellington will host No. 30 Weston (8-12) on Monday. The Knights finished the regular season 18-2.
In Class S, No. 26 Somers will travel to No. 7 Windham Tech (15-5) on Tuesday. The Spartans finished the regular season 9-11.
Somers has not made the tournament the last two seasons, going 6-14 both years.
Coach Alan Walker says that he is in the process of working on scouting Windham Tech.
