Somers Democrats Choose Candidates for Town Offices
Nominees chosen for upcoming municipal elections.
The Somers Democratic Town Committee held a special meeting Tuesday to nominate candidates for the 2013 municipal elections.
Nominated for the Board of Selectmen are incumbent Kathleen Devlin and challenger William Salka. Board of Education candidates are incumbents David Palmer, Robert Schmidt and Barbara Capuano, as well as Mary Rockett and Allison Salka.
Other nominees are (I = incumbent):
Board of Finance - Timothy Geib
Library Board - Michael Gotta (I), Andrew Phillips (I)
Town Clerk - Anne Marie Logan (I)
Board of Assessors - Robert Loubier (I)
