Road Work Starting Next Week on Several Ellington Streets

The Department of Public Works is slated to begin a few road work projects next week, on Oct. 15 in Ellington.

State contractor Galasso Materials, LLC, will be paving Hillsdale Drive, Hayes Avenue and Field Drive starting next Tuesday, weather permitting, the department said.

After the paving is completed the contractor will have a crew back within a week to make corrections to driveway aprons that have been affected by the road work. 

Also starting next Tuesday, state contractor A&A Asphalt, LLC will be sealing cracks along roads in the Ketchbrook Neighborhood of Ellington.

Residents are asked not to park on any of these roads next Tuesday, Oct. 15.
