Family: Married to Lisa for almost 25 years, we have raised two children who have graduated from Somers Public Schools. Sarah is pursuing a masters degree in education at URI after graduating as president of her class from ECSU in Willimantic, and Eric is a junior at CCSU in New Britain studying history.

Government and/or other experience qualifying you for office: I've lived in Somers for nearly 25 years and have always been active in the community. Eight years on Somers Board of Education, liaison to the Board of Finance during the last 5 years. Served on Somers CIP committee for past six years. Successfully managed my business for consistent profitable growth, responsible for over 100 employees.

Major issues you are focusing on: Sound fiscal practices that enable Somers to provide services for town residents while working with the town boards to capitalize on grant opportunities.

How you intend on addressing these issues: Listen to the concerns of townspeople, especially at public hearings. Hold our elected state representatives accountable for providing us with resources for our community, not just Connecticut's urban areas. Respect the perspective of our town leadership when they discuss need for public safety, education, social services, or general government.
