Remember to License Your Dog(s)

Dog Licenses will expire June 30. New Licenses must be purchased between June 1 and June 30. Connecticut law requires any dog age 6 months or older be registered in the office of the Town Clerk.

A rabies vaccination certificate must be submitted to the Town Clerk at the time of registration. Spaying or neutering certificates must be presented unless already on file in the Town Clerks Office.

  • Neutered or Spayed - $8.00
  • Male or Female  - $19.00

After June 30, a late fee of $1.00 per month is due along with your license fee at the time of registration.

If you would like to register your dog through the mail you must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for the tags and license to be returned to you.
