Ellington Seeks Two Residents to Serve on North Central District Health Department Board

Interested candidates should call First Selectman's office or visit town website.

The Town of Ellington is looking to appoint two residents to serve on the Board of Directors of the North Central District Health Department (NCDHD).

A background in an area of public health or the medical field is helpful.

The Board meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in either Enfield or Vernon.

NCDHD is a full-time public health department with a full-time staff and is governed by the Board of Directors with representatives from the eight municipalities it serves.

Any elector of the Town of Ellington interested in serving the community on this board should call the First Selectman's office at (860)-870-3100 for a Statement of Interest or visit the town’s website at Ellington-ct.gov, select ‘Government’, select ‘Boards & Commissions’.
