Gov. Dannel Malloy has appointed Ellington resident Linda Burnham to serve on the state Real Estate Commission.
Burnham, of Prudential Connecticut Realty in Vernon, will serve on the
eight person board which consists of members of the public, brokers and real
estate sales persons, said Prudential President and CEO Candace Adams.
As an arm of the
Department of Consumer Protection, the Real Estate Commission authorizes the
Department of Consumer Protection to issue real estate licenses. It also
administers the renewal, suspension and revocation of these licenses.
“I am very proud of
Linda’s appointment to the Commission, it is quite an honor and I know she will
excel in this role,” said Adams.
Burnham entered the
real estate field in 1986 when she joined Prudential Connecticut Realty. She is
a consistent top producer within the company and has been awarded several
