Ellington Holding a Prescription Take Back Day

The event is happening this Saturday, Jan. 25.

Ellington officials will be holding a prescription drug take back event this weekend.

Ellington residents are asked to bring in old and unused prescription drugs so they can be disposed of in the proper manner.

Residents can drop off medications to the Ellington Resident State Troopers' Office at 33 Arbor Way in Ellington from 9 am to noon on Saturday, January 25th, according to the calendar posting on Patch.

The office stresses the following:

  • No syringes
  • No illegal drugs
  • Original containers only
  • Over the counter drugs including Rx ointments and inhalers will NOT be accepted.
Prescription Take Back Day is sponsored by Ellington Resident State Troopers' Office and the DPYC (Developing Positive Youth Culture). For more information, please contact Ellington Youth Services at 860-870-3130.
