Ellington Appointments and Vacancies

Appointments:

At the Jan. 9, 2012 meeting of the Board of Selectmen the following appointments were approved:

AD HOC PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE: Appointed Bruce N. Warkentin to serve a one-year term to Dec. 31, 2012.

PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION: Reappointed Gordon Oliver, Thomas Boscarino, Cynthia Costanzo and Robert Larew to serve four-year terms to Jan. 31, 2016. Appointed Christopher Weitz to serve an unexpired term to Jan. 31, 2014.

BOARD OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS: Reappointed John Rachek to serve a three-year term to Jan. 31, 2015. Reappointed Joel Nadel to serve as an Alternate Member for a three-year term to Jan. 31, 2014.

HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION: Reappointed Helen Filloramo, Susan Hannigan, Anne Nickerson and Susan Stack to serve four-year terms to Jan. 31, 2016.

Vacancies:

The following appointments will be considered at the Feb. 6, 2012 meeting of the Board of Selectmen. Vacancies exist on the boards/commissions noted below. 

AD HOC BUDGET ADVISORY COMMITTEE: Three terms until after the 2012-2013 budget passes.

AD HOC CRYSTAL LAKE MILFOIL COMMITTEE: One term to May 31, 2012.

AD HOC PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE: Three terms to Dec. 31, 2012.

AD HOC COMMITTEE FOR THE PRESERVATION OF THE PINNEY HOUSE: One term to July 31, 2012.

BOARD OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS ALTERNATE: One term to Jan. 31, 2013.

BUILDING CODE BOARD OF APPEALS: One term to April 30, 2014.

CONSERVATION COMMISSION ALTERNATE: One term to March 31, 2012.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION ALTERNATE: Two terms to Jan. 31, 2013.

INLAND WETLANDS AGENCY ALTERNATE: One term to Jan. 31, 2013; one term to Jan. 31, 2012.

PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION: One Republican term to Jan. 31, 2014.

PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION: One term to Dec. 2, 2013.

SHARED SERVICES COMMISSION: Two terms to March 31, 2014; one term to March 31, 2012.

VERNON AREA CABLE TV ADVISORY COUNCIL: One term to June 30, 2012.

ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS ALTERNATE: One term to Aug. 31, 2012
