On Tuesday, the annual town budget meeting will be held, and residents will have the chance to discuss the proposed 2013-14 budget.
The meeting will be held at Ellington High School and will begin at 8 p.m.
This meeting will then adjourn to a referendum on May 21. Voting will take place from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Ellington High School.
The referendum question will read, "Shall the town of Ellington appropriate, as recommended and as allocated by the Board of Finance, the total sum for all expenditures, a/k/a budget grand total for the fiscal year 2013-2014, the sum of $50,180,837?"
