Drug Take Back Day to be Held Saturday

Residents in the area can bring their drugs to the Ellington Resident State Trooper's Office.

On Saturday, area residents can bring any unwanted prescription drugs to the Ellington Resident State Trooper's Office from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The medications will be safely disposed of. No needles or syringes will be accepted.

This is the fourth Drug Enforcement Administration drug take back day. According to TakeBackNetwork.com, more than 377,086 pounds - 188.5 tons - of unwanted or expired medications were turned in for safe and proper disposal on drug take back day.
