A Massachusetts woman is still hospitalized at Bay State Medical Center after she was hit by an SUV on Stafford Road

The woman who was struck by an SUV while biking in Somers on Sunday is still in critical condition at an area hospital.

A spokesman for Bay State Medical Center said Paula Framarin, 57, of East Longmeadow, Mass., is still at the hospital after sustaining severe injuries when she was struck by an SUV while biking on Stafford Road, a short distance from the intersection with Route 83.

She is still in critical condition, the spokesman said, the same state she was listed in following the 2:30 p.m. accident.

The Somers Resident State Trooper's Office said the case is still under investigation and an accident reconstruction team will be recreating the scene of the incident to determine what happened.
