Vernon Police Release Photo of Stop & Shop Robbery Suspect

Police are asking identification help.

Vernon Police are requesting the help of the public in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a "strong arm" Robbery that occurred at the Vernon Super Stop and Shop on Aug. 2.

The Stop & Shop is located at 10 Pitkin Rd. The robbery occurred on Friday Aug. 2 at around 9:50 p.m., Det. James Grady of the Vernon Police Department said. 


Grady said the quality of the surveillance photograph of the suspect is very good and police are hoping that someone will come forward and identify the suspect. The photo is attached.

Anyone with information as to the identity of the person pictured is asked to call Officer Aaron Grechko at 860-872-9126, ext. 249 or Grady at 860-872-9126, ext 201.
