Vernon Police: Ellington Man Charged in Road Rage Incident

The incident was at the Rockville Dunkin' Donuts, police said.

An Ellington man is facing eight charges after what Vernon police said was a road rage incident to begin the weekend.

At 3:07 p.m. on Friday, officers were dispatched to the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot at 42 Windsor Ave. Jashua Calo, 27, of 42 Lower Butcher Rd., Ellington allegedly went after another driver there and damaged the other driver's vehicle, police said. 

Police aid they were still compiling evidence, but the damage resulted in charges against Calo for first-degree reckless endangerment, carrying a dangerous weapon and weapons in a motor vehicle, according to a preliminary report.

He was also charged with reckless driving, evading responsibility, risk of injury to a child, second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace, police said. 

The incident was not far from Calo's home.
