Troop C Police Blotter — Weekend Arrests Ending Oct. 6, 2013

The latest arrests relating to Ellington, Somers and other surrounding towns.

Somers
 


Oct. 5

A Somers woman, 34, was charged with operating an unregistered vehicle, an insurance violation, engaging police in a pursuit, risk of injury to a child, disorderly conduct and third-degree strangulation at 12:04 a.m., state police said.

A verbal argument between the woman and her daughter turned physical, state police said. The girl was able to free herself and run to a neighbor's house, where she called state police, according to an arrest report. 

The woman then left the house in an unregistered and uninsured Jeep and engaged police in a pursuit of just more than 5 miles to 10 Broad Brook Rd. in East Windsor. 

She then lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a metal guardrail, state police said. 

She left her 3-year-old daughter home alone when she fled the house, state police said.

The woman was arrested and taken to Rockville General Hospital for minor injuries, state police said.

Nicole Micucci, 24, of Longmeadow, MA, was charged with DUI, and failure to have her vehicle's lights on at1:15 a.m., state police said. 

She was stopped for failing to have her headlights on and failed field sobriety tests, state police said. 

Ellington

Oct. 6

State police are investigating a burglary at a Kibbe Road residence that occurred sometime between 1:25 p.m. on Saturday and 3:30 a.m. on Sunday. 

Forced entry was made through a a garage window, state police said. A 2004 Harley-Davidson Roadking Classic motorcycle was taken, state police said. 

Anyone seeing a motorcycle being transported on a truck or trailer at that time or anyone with other information on the case can call state police at 860-896-3200, ext. 8094.

Eric Graziano, 40, of 51 Meadow Brook Rd., Ellington, was charged with DUI and failure to drive right after a traffic stop on Broad Brook Road at 2:24 a.m., state police said. 

He was observed swerving and crossing the yellow line near the East Windsor Border on Route 140, state police said.

Oct. 4

At 9:53 p.m., state police responded to a complaint of a suspicious incident at the TD Bank at the Eastbrook Mall. 

Sean Harris, 20, of Groton, and Jack Peters, 20, or Ledyard, were both charged with third-degree larceny, state police said. 

Oct. 6

Jeremy Sloan, 32, of Marlborough, was charged with breach of peace/threatening at 11:04 a.m., state police said.

State police were responding to a report of a suspicious person on Sawmill Brook Lane, according to an arrest report. 

Vernon

Oct. 4

At 12:06 a.m., police charged Noelle Irene Cardello, 45, of West Haven, with evading responsibility, DUI, failure to drive in the proper lane, a license change of address violation and the reckless use of the highway by a pedestrian, state police said. 

State police responded to a motor vehicle accident on I-84 west and had to track Cardello with a canine unit after the fled the scene, according to an incident report. 
She failed field sobriety tests, state police said.

Tolland

Oct. 4

Corey Andrusis, 35, of 88 Virginia Lane, Tolland, was charged with failure to submit to fingerprinting, disorderly conduct and third-degree strangulation, state police said.

At 1:34, a.m., state police responded to a disconnected 9-1-1 call on Virginia Lane, according to an arrest report. In the course of investigating an alleged domestic violence incident, he was charged, state police said.

At 12:16 a.m., Judith Lariviere, 43, of 10 Russell Dr., was charged with DUI and speeding, state police said.

She was observed driving erratically on Route 195, state police said.

Michael Decker, 37, of 34 White Rd., Ellington, was charged with fifth-degree larceny after an investigating into an incident on June 17, state police said.
The incident was on Grahaber Road, state police said.

Oct. 6

Michael Lojzim, 49, of 26 North River Rd., Tolland, was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, second-degree strangulation and second-degree unlawful restraint, state police said. 

Troopers were dispatched to his home at 7:03 p.m. for a reported active domestic incident, according to an arrest report. Lojzim allegedly choked someone during the fracas, state police said.
