Troop C Police Blotter - Week Ending Aug. 23, 2013

Here are the Troop C arrests for the week ending Aug. 23: 

Ellington

Aug. 14


The resident state trooper's office is investigating a reported larceny on Pinney Street at the Stonebridge Apartments. 

State police were told that a blue pickup truck transported a stolen water heater off the property, according to a report. 

Somers
 

Aug. 17

State police are investigating an incident on Grist Mill Terrace in which someone entered an unlocked shed and stole several pieces of yard equipment, including two chainsaws and a leaf blower, according to a report. 

Tolland 

Aug. 20

State police charged Robert Levine, 52, of 15 Glenstone Terrace, with disorderly conduct after domestic disturbance, according to an incident report. 

The incident took place at 10:55 p.m., state police said. 

Aug. 21

State police said they found a man walking along a stretch of Interstate-84 in Tolland with a drugs. 

He is now facing charges three charges as a result. 

According to an incident report, state police received a call about a pedestrian on the highway at 2:27 a.m., according to an incident report. A trooper arrived to not only find Jesse Charles Rundle, if Blaine, MN, there, but with 10 Oxycodone 5mg pills, five Cyclobenzaprine pills, and eight Naproxen 500 mg pills. 

In addition to the pain medication, he had a clear glass smoking pipe a clear glass with white powder residue in it and a metallic pill cylinder, according to an incident report. 

Rundle, 37, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance - narcotics, and the reckless use of a highway by a pedestrian, state police said.  

Vernon

Aug. 19

At 2:50 a.m., state police said they clocked a vehicle traveling at 98 mph on Interstate-84. 

Anthony Casey, 19, of 1810 Main St., Newington, was charged with reckless driving and first-degree reckless endangerment, state police said. 

There were more passengers than seat belts in the vehicle and a female was sitting on the lap of a male in the front passenger seat, state police said.

Mansfield 

Aug. 17

At 2:24 a.m., state police observed a car on Route 32 with a missing rear light, according to a report.  

The vehicle was stopped and Nathaniel Ray Bryant, 28, of 16 Merrow Rd., Mansfield, was charged with driving under the influence in addition to the equipment violation, state police said.
