Vernon

Dec. 13

Hugo Leonal Cardona Pimentel, 46, of Guatamala, was stopped on I-84 at 11:33 p.m. for driving a commercial vehicle without a license, state police said.  

He was also charged with having improper brakes on a trailer and failure to have tail lamps. state police said.

Dec. 16

State police said a driver parked his vehicle in the commuter lot off exit 67 of I-84 in the morning and when he returned later in the day, he discovered the catalytic converter was taken out.

The case is under investigation, state police said. 

Stafford

Dec. 13

Bruce Beaudry, 49, was arrested on a warrant for providing liquor to a minor in August, state police said.

He lives at 69 Main St., Stafford, state police said.

Beaudry was also charged with disorderly conduct - threatening, fourth-degree sexual assault and second-degree unlawful restraint, state police said.

Ashford

Dec. 14

At 8:38 p.m., four juveniles were charged with breach of peace on Turnpike Road, state police said.

The are from Willimantic, and were on a school bus, state police said. Three are 17 and one is 16, state police said.

One of the 17-year-olds was also charged with threatening, state police said.

The names of juvenile arrestees are exempt from disclosure, according to Freedom of Information law. 

Ellington

Dec. 14

Robert Gorcynski, 51, of 1 Maple St., Ellington, was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call at 2:14 a.m., state police said.
The charges stemmed from a domestic incident, state police said.

Dec. 16

A 16-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault after a domestic incident on Pinney Road, state police said. 

Troopers receive a call about a domestic incident between mother and daughter, a report indicates. The names of juvenile arrestees are exempt from disclosure, according to Freedom of Information law. 

Mansfield 

Dec. 15

Jerry Caetano Jose, 39, of Willington, was charged with evading, driving under the influence and failure to drive at a reasonable distance at 10:37 p.m. on Route 195, state police said.

He left the scene of an accident and was located a short time later, state police said.

Dec. 16

Zachery Cushing, 19, of Willimantic, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree intimidation based on bigotry and threatening at 5:53 p.m. on Route 195, state police said. 

Troopers received a harassment/disturbance complaint, according to a report.
