Troop C Blotter — Arrests Ending Nov. 22

The latest roundup of regional arrests, including those from Ellington and Somers.

Arrest information is furnished by the state police Troop C barracks in Tolland and does not indicate a conviction.

Somers

Jerrold Paradis, 38, 132 Sherman Road, Enfield, was charged with traveling at an unreasonable speed, operating under the influence and a failure to drive right after police said he was caught speeding in Somers on Nov. 22. Paradis was held on a $500 bond and is due in Rockville Superior Court on Dec. 9.

Tolland

Nov. 19

Douglas P. Johnson, 46, 13E Foster Drive, Mansfield, was charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny after police said he allegedly stole $8,000 in belongings from the safe of a home belonging to his ex-wife. Johnson was taken into custody on Nov. 18 and held on a $5,000 bond. He was due in Rockville Superior Court on Nov. 19.

Kyle Alexander Ruggiero, 20, 63 Doe Run, Tolland, was charged with operating under the influence and a failure to have tail lamps after police pulled him over on Route 195 in Tolland on Nov. 18. Ruggiero was held on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court on Dec. 4.

Vernon


Nov. 17

Jason M. Hamm, 36, 92 Green Road, Manchester, was charged with operating under the influence, a failure to drive in the proper lane, use of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than .5 ounces of cannabis after police pulled him over on Nov. 17 on the Wilbur Cross Highway in Vernon. Hamm was held on a $500 bond and is due in Rockville Superior Court on Dec. 4.

Nov. 18

Kevin Ayers, 46, 14 Reed Road, Vernon, was charged with reckless driving and operating under the influence after police pulled him over on I-84 in Vernon on Nov. 18. Ayers was held on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court on Dec. 4.

Mansfield

Nov. 17

Jeremy Millette, 27, 90 Chapman St., Willimantic, was charged with third-degree burglary, operating with a refused license and sixth-degree larceny after police said he was caught trying to break into a car in the parking lot of Natchaug Hospital on Route 195 in Mansfield on Nov. 17 around 10:13 p.m. Millette was held on a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court on Dec. 3.

Nov. 18

Edna L. Pena, 42, 249 Church St., Willimantic, was charged with sixth-degree larceny after police said she was caught trying to shoplift from Big Y in Mansfield on Route 195 on Nov. 18. Pena was released and is due in Rockville Superior Court on Dec. 2.

Christhian Gonzalez-Diaz, 32, 339F Jeffrey Road, Willimantic, was charged with third-degree larceny and interfering with an officer after police said he stole two bottles of perfume that he didn't pay for from a TJ Maxx store on Storrs Road in Mansfield on Oct. 31. Gonzalez-Diaz was taken into custody this week and was held on a $2,500 bond. He was due in Rockville Superior Court on Nov. 20.

Analise Odea, 21, 27 Farmstead Lane, West Hartford, was charged with operating under the influence and a failure to drive in the proper lane after police said she was pulled over on Route 195 in Mansfield on Nov. 18. Odea was held on a $500 bond and is due in Rockville Superior Court on Dec. 9.

Nov. 20

Ruskin Tyler Storrs, 33, 31 Circle Drive, Mansfield Center, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault after police pulled him over on Storrs Road in Mansfield on Nov. 21. Storrs was held on a $1,500 bond and was due in Rockville Superior Court on Nov. 22.

Manchester

Nov. 19

Richard Saucier, 33, 285 Hilliard St., Manchester, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal trespass and third-degree larceny stemming from an incident on Landfill Way in Mansfield in May. Saucier was taken into custody on Nov. 19. He was released and is due in Manchester Superior Court on Dec. 10.
