Tractor Trailer Stolen from Somers Trucking School
The vehicle was later recovered however police are investigating.
State police are investigating the reported theft of a tractor trailer from a school in Somers.
According to a news release, the truck was taken from the New England Tractor Trailer Training School, Inc. (NETTTS) sometime during the overnight hours of Monday, Dec. 16.
Whoever took the truck then drove it around the area of Field Road and Egypt Road, causing property damage, police said.
The truck was later recovered on Egypt Road.
State troopers are canvassing the area, interviewing witnesses and reviewing video surveillance.
