Torrington Man Killed in Rollover Accident on I-91 in East Windsor
State police said the vehicle Richard Grassette was driving, and was ejected from, is registered to an Ellington man.
A 34-year-old Torrington man was killed in an early morning car accident on I-91 in East Windsor about one mile south of exit 46 Monday.
State Police Troop H said Richard Grassette of 121 Pulaski St., Torrington, was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer south on I-91 just after 12 a.m. when it swerved off the road to the right. The truck rolled over several times and Grassette was ejected from the vehicle.
Grassette was taken to Hartford Hospital by East Windsor and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Ford Explorer is registered to Walter Glomb of Ellington, state police said.
