State Police Stepping up Visibility and Motor Vehicle Enforcement

As the holiday weekend approaches, State Troopers assigned to Troop C in Tolland will participate in an enhanced visibility/motor vehicle enforcement effort on Friday, April 6. 

This enhanced effort to keep the roadways safe will involve the participation of patrol personnel assigned to I-84 and resident troopers assigned to the towns of Tolland, Stafford, Mansfield, Ellington, and Somers. 

These enhanced efforts will continue on a frequent basis to deter and detect the unsafe operation of motor vehicles and to interdict criminal activity. The goal is to reduce the frequency and severity of accidents and to prevent crimes that occur within these communities.
