Roads Treacherous as Pax Bears Down

News 12 CT captures a bad crash on I-95.

Here's one particularly bad accident that occurred near exit 15 on I-95 southbound in Norwalk, along with a pretty spirited discussion about people out driving in the middle of a major storm.

Stay safe everyone!

But wouldn't it be funny if one of the town directors used office closures to screw with employees by only telling the workers they like not to bother coming into work and allowing the others to show up, having to risk life and limb driving there. Isn't that funny?

It seems no matter what the weather conditions are people drive like it's sunny and dry outside.

Some people have no choice need to get to or from work not every one has option to stay home

Some people had to get home, when work let them out!

Some people just rely on their membership in community clubs and abuse the titles they are given in municipal departments. Some people treat their employees like trash and get away with it because the Club protects them. Some people skim money off the top of the grant pot and hide it by cutting their employees hours but having them do the same work. Some people just behave poorly.

People, you are missing the point. I understand going to and from work or going out for a loaf of bread. I guess common sense goes out the window whenever it's bad weather.

Gee...I guess with all this snow the sign on the Town Green won't get changed for a few more months. You know...the one touting the Senior Center Bazaar held Halloween weekend of 2013. The one visitors see when driving up Maple Street. Maybe we could just leave it up til the 2014 Bazaar? Geez....somebody give me the key. I'll change the damn sign. I'll at least advertise the Kerry Boys in July. That's always a given....Is there a beautification committee or something here that checks on these things?? While they're at it, they can tell the guy in Joe's Junk shop that his "Going Out of Business" sign is spelled woefully wrong. It says bisniss or something pathetic like that. Trouble is, the sign is as big as a planet! Nice touch for downtown. Sheesh....
