Parachutist Transported to Hospital Via LifeStar

Injuries believed to be non life threatening.

A parachutist in his late 20s was transported to Hartford Hospital via LifeStar after an accident at  Sunday morning, officials said.

Michael Varney, chief of the , said the injuries were not life threatening. The incident occurred shortly after 9 a.m.

Responding to the scene were the fire department,  and a Rockville medic, Varney said. The man treated at the scene and then transported to Hartford Hospital via LifeStar, Varney said.
