PD: Inmate Spat on Corrections Officer
Police are investigating a reported incident at Northern Correctional Facility in Somers.
State police are looking into a report of an inmate spitting in the face of a corrections officer.
Troopers responded to Northern Correctional Facility in Somers, on Bilton Road, on Dec. 1 around 4:45 p.m.
According to the police report, earlier in the day an inmate, Vaughn Outlaw, 47, spat on the officer in the face. Police said the incident is under investigation.
Outlaw is serving a 25-month sentence for first-degree assault,according to the Department of Corrections.
