A look at some remarkable police cases from Connecticut.

The case:  was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after dumping a glass of juice on the mother of his children.

The OMG PD twist: The dispute that led to the juice dumping involved feeding the children SpaghettiOs.

The case: A Vernon man was charged with misuse of the emergency 911 system.

The OMG PD twist: Police say that  called the number to get police to respond to his ex-girlfriend’s house to aggravate her.

The case: was arrested after attempting to rob the Rockville Bank and successfully robbing the Webster Bank in Somers.

The OMG PD twist: Ferguson is known as the "Burly Bandit" by the FBI because of his size and was previously tried in Federal Court on 11 other bank robberies in New England and New York. He is serving his sentence at Fort Dix while awaiting trial for the two bank robberies in Connecticut.

The case: A Stamford man was charged with third degree assault and breach of peace after a referee issued a red card to his teammate in an adult soccer game.

The OMG PD twist:  had apparently become enraged at the call, causing him to “grab the ref from the rear” and punch “him in the right side of the head, causing the ref to be knocked unconscious,” according to reports.

The case: An employee at a drive-up window of McDonald’s on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk was  recently.

The OMG PD twist: The only thing the empoyee did wrong was ask passengers in a car to repeat their order. Police gave this account of what happened next: The driver became angry, told the employee he needed to do his job better, and asked when he got off from work. Then a passenger got out of the car and began banging on the drive-up window. The window opened enough that the passenger was able to punch the employee in the shoulder. The car then drove off.
