Marine Killed in DC Had Lived in Ellington
Philip Bushong, 23, was stabbed and killed on Saturday morning.
Early Saturday morning in Washington, DC, Philip Bushong, who lived in Ellington when he was younger, was stabbed multiple times and later died.
According to WJLA.com, Bushong, a Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC was stabbed by fellow Marine Michael Joseph Poth, 20, after a homophobic slur was used against Bushong.
WJLA reports that Bushong, 23, was due to get out of the Marines soon.
