Local Trooper and Canine Partner Graduate

TFC. Michael Zella and his partner Hero took part in the graduation exercise on Thursday.

On Thursday morning, 16 police and canine partners were honored during the Connecticut State Police 156th Patrol Dog Graduation, having officially completed their training.

One of these graduates was TFC. Michael Zella and his partner Hero, from the Troop C barracks in Tolland.

Officer Joseph Malone and Jaxx, from Windsor Locks, and Officer Chris Dufresne and Bruin, from Enfield, were also among the graduates.

The graduation exercise was held at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.
