Man in Roll Over Accident Released from Hospital

A car rolled over a man on Meadow Brook Road on Sunday morning.

Sean Lynch, the man involved in a pick up truck accident on Sunday morning, has been released from Hartford Hospital, according to police.

Police report that Lynch was unloading items from a pick up truck at 77 Meadow Brook Road when he noticed that the truck was rolling backwards. He attempted to stop the truck from rolling when he slipped in the mud and was run over by the left rear wheel of the vehicle, according to the police press release.

LifeStar took Lynch to Hartford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police report. Police said he was treated and released from the hospital.

LifeStar responded to an accident on Meadow Brook Road in Ellington after a man was struck by a car, according to Ellington Fire Department Chief Michael Varney.

The incident took place around 11 a.m. Sunday, Varney said. LifeStar transported the man to Hartford Hospital.

The Ellington Fire Department and Ellington Ambulance both responded to the scene. The accident is still under investigation.
