Four Charged for After-Hours Park Escapade
An Ellington resident is amongst those facing charges.
Four people are facing charges for hanging around a public park past closing time on Saturday, according to a arrest report.

The community policing team on patrol in Rockville came across the people at 8:52 p.m. on Saturday at Central Park, across from a strip of town buildings, police records indicate.

All four were charged with being in a park after dark and possessing liquor in a park, according to an arrest report. They were released on a written promise to appear in court on July, 3, police said.

• Bernard Christian, 47, of 9 Davis Ave., Vernon
• Jeffrew Dee, 49, of 42 Jay St., New London
• Robert Ignatowicz, 58, of 25 Linden Pl., Vernon
