Ellington Volunteer Ambulance to Hold Open House

Come celebrate the corps' 50 years of service to the community.

Rain or shine, the Ellington Volunteer Ambulance Corps will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Saturday with an open house meant to help educate the public on its mission and provide insight into its past.

The celebration will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at its 41 Maple St. location. The event wil include free food, entertainment and live demonstrations of the tools used during routine, and not so routine, calls.
