Ellington-Somers Police Blotter: May 6-May 12

The following arrest reports, provided by Connecticut State Police, are accurate as of May 13, 2011. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

May 9

Carlos Flores, 34, was transported from Northern Correctional Institution so that police could serve him with an active warrant. Flores was placed under arrest and charged with assault on a peace officer and breach of peace. He was processed and held on a $75,000 bond set by the court.

Tamijo Daigneault, 40, of Ellington, and Bryan David Laplante, 50, both of 460 Somers Rd., were both arrested after a disturbance was reported at property. Based on the investigation at the scene and statements from all parties involved, Daigneault and Laplante were arrested. Laplante was charged with disorderly conduct and was released on a $500 non-surety bond. Daigneault was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, and threatening and was held at Troop C on a $2,500 surety bond.
