Ellington-Somers Police Blotter: March 12 - March 17

The following arrest reports, provided by Connecticut State Police Troop C in Tolland, are accurate as of March 18, 2011.

Jesse Pincine of Ellington had a rough week.

Pincine was arrested twice in three days, the first for trespassing on property he’d been warned to stay off and the second for assaulting a relative, according to state police records.

On March 13, state police responded to Ellington Automotive after a person there called to say that someone unwanted was on the property. The person, identified as Pincine, had allegedly damaged the rear door to the building and was trying to break through a locked door to gain access to the structure. He’d been warned by state police and the owner to stay off the property.

It got worse for Pincine, though. While processing the arrest, state police discovered that there was six outstanding warrants for Pincine’s arrest; four from the state police, one from Manchester police and one from the Vernon department.

So police added four counts of second-degree failure to appear in court and two counts of first-degree failure to appear in court to the list.

Pincine was released on a $20,500 bond and was scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Rockville on March 23.

Two days later, March 15, police arrested Pincine again, this time charging him with assault, after receiving a call from a relative regarding an incident involving the man.

By the time police arrived, Pincine had left the scene. Based on witness statements and a short investigation, police found Pincine, who had an arm injury but who declined medical treatment, and took him into custody. He was presented in superior court that day
