Elizabeth Agatha Wielock, 40, of 50 Quality Ave. in Somers, turned herself in to Troop C on charges of risk of injury to a child, third-degree burglary, and accessory - criminal liability for acts of another. At the time the report was written, she was being held on a court set $50,000 cash of surety bond and has been issued a court date of Jan. 29 at Rockville Superior Court.

Jan. 11
Lisa Vasseur, 43, and Mark J. Vasseur, 44, both of 45 Quality Ave. in Somers, were arrested after a trooper was assigned by the Troop C desk officer to investigate a reported disturbance call at a residential home in Somers. Upon completing a thorough investigation into this reported complaint, both were subjected to an in-custody arrest. Mark Vasseur was charged with disorderly conduct and was later released from custody on a $2,500 non-surety bond with a court date of Jan. 14 at Rockville Superior Court. Lisa Vasseur was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. At the time the report was written, she was being held on a $2,5000 non-surety bond and has a court date of Jan. 14 at Rockville Superior Court.
Mark A. Morgan, 20, of 69D Main St. in Somers, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. Morgan walked over to the victim's residence, located across the street, at which time a physical altercation occurred. The victim sustained a minor injury below his right eye and did not require medical attention.
Jan. 16
A 61-year-old Florida man was traveling westbound on Billings Road, at the intersection of Somers Hill Circle, in Somers and was traveling at a speed too great for the current road conditions (rain/snow slush). As a result, he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle veered into the left lane and off the left shoulder where it struck a tree and came to an uncontrolled rest position. No injuries were observed and or reported from the man or his passenger, a 33-year-old Ellington woman. The man was found to be at fault and issued an infraction for traveling too fast for conditions.
