Ellington-Somers Police Blotter: Feb. 8-Feb. 14

Feb. 8

Linda M. Hale, 52, of 51 Meadow Brook Rd., Apt. 87 in Ellington, turned herself in at Troop C on an active arrest warrant for sixth-degree larceny and third-degree forgery. She was processed at Troop C and released on a non-surety bond. The warrant was issued after an investigation of an incident on Meadow Brook Road in Ellington.

A 23-year-old Ellington man was traveling northbound on Pinney Street when he lost control and the vehicle traveled off the right shoulder and struck a mailbox. No injuries were reported and minor vehicle damage resulted. It was raining and the roads were slushy from recent snow. The man was issued an infraction for traveling too fast for conditions.
