State police responded to a home on Strawberry Road in Ellington for a reported domestic disturbance. Prior to police arrival, the accused fled the scene. The accused, Darryl J. Faucette, 51, was detained by the Hartford Police Department and was transported to Troop C where he was arrested and processed. He was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call, and third-degree assault. Faucette was held on bond and was due to appear in Rockville Superior Court on Feb. 21.

A trooper was assigned to report to Rockville Superior Court to execute an arrest warrant on Hae Jin Park, 28, who is an inmate at . Upon arrival, the trooper met with Park and informed him that Troop C holds an active arrest warrant for fugitive from justice. Park was read his notice of rights from the Notice of Rights form, which he understood and signed. Park was then processed according to departmental procedure. Park refused to submit to being fingerprinted and was later released into the custody of the judicial marshals for a same day arraignment.
