Ellington-Somers Police Blotter: Aug. 17-Aug. 23

The following arrest reports, provided by Connecticut State Police, are accurate as of Aug. 24, 2012. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

Aug. 20

The ’s office is investigating that were entered during the overnight hours on Aug. 20.

Aug. 22

Roberto Negron Espinosa, 39, of 154 Brook St. in Hartford, was transported from to Rockville Superior Court so that an active arrest warrant could be served. He was placed under arrest on an active arrest warrant issued by the court for second-degree threatening. Espinosa was processed and held on a $10,000 bond set by the court. He was then turned back over to the state marshals to be presented to the court. On July 26, Northern Correctional Institution reported that a correction officer had been threatened by an inmate, Espinosa, who was due to be released in under 30 days.

Aug. 23

The Ellington Resident Trooper’s office is investigating a DCF reported sexual assault of a juvenile female. It is under investigation.
