Ellington-Somers Police Blotter: April 29-May 5

The following arrest reports, provided by Connecticut State Police, are accurate as of May 6, 2011. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

April 29

Nathaniel Haberern, 19, of 1 S. George Washington Rd., Enfield was charged with failure to carry a license, failure to have lights lit and devices illuminated, and possession of controlled substances/narcotics. He was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 83 in Somers and a subsequent investigation revealed that the operator was in possession of marijuana.  

At approximately 3 p.m., a report of a larceny occurred at a residence on Crystal Ridge Drive in Ellington. Several electronic items were taken from vehicles at the residence, including a GPS unit and Sirius Radio.

April 30

At approximately 2:30 a.m., state police responded to , located at 83 West Rd. in Ellington for a report of a robbery. The clerk stated that while standing in front of business he was grabbed by an unknown male wearing dark clothing, mask, and gloves. The business was robbed and an unspecified amount of money was reported stolen.

May 1

A windshield on Florence Avenue in Ellington was smashed sometime between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. The case is under investigation.  

May 3

Michael J. Brownhill, 30, of 271 Somers Rd., Ellington turned himself in at Troop C after he was informed of an arrest warrant issued for an incident that occurred in March.  

State police responded to the for an investigation involving the possession of a weapon by an inmate. The case is currently under investigation. 

Loretta Wilson, 54, of 407 Autumn Chase in Ellington and Christopher Wilson, 30, of 115 West Rd., were arrested after an incident at 407 Autumn Chase. Loretta Wilson was charged with third-degree hindering, interfering, breach of peace, and failure to comply with fingerprinting. Christopher Wilson was charged with interfering and breach of peace.

May 5

Raymond Lampron, 23, turned himself in to Troop C on an outstanding PRAWN warrant for second-degree failure to appear for an incident on Main Street in Somers.
