Ellington-Somers Police Blotter: April 27-May 3

April 28

Susan W. Ramisk, 47, of 44 Charter Rd. in Ellington, was stopped on Route 190 in Enfield for observed violations. During this stop, she was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and was subjected to a series of standardized field sobriety tests. Ramisk failed the tests and was subjected to an in-custody arrest. She was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and failure to maintain lane. Ramisk was processed according to state police policy and was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear before Enfield Superior Court on May 8. Location: Route 190 Enfield

Stephen D. Milliken, 54, of 159 County Rd. in Somers, was charged after a verbal argument between a father and daughter escalated to the father striking and pushing his daughter behind the bar of the in Somers after the restaurant had closed. The father, Milliken, was placed under arrest and transported to Troop C in Tolland where he was processed according to state police policy and released. He was charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call, and third-degree assault.

State police responded to a domestic disturbance between a father and son on Hilltop Drive in Ellington. Based on the investigation, a 17-year-old male was arrested and held on a $5,000 bond pending a Rockville Superior Court date. He was charged with third- degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct: threatening, and threatening. 

May 2

Connecticut State Police responded with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to for a referral investigation.

Salam Williams-Bey, 48, of 35 Arbor Way Apt. 22 in Ellington, was surrendered to Troop C in Tolland by bail enforcement agents on an active PRAWN warrant issued by Hartford Superior Court. He was processed according to state policy and held on a $500,000 bond for first- degree failure to appear. Williams-Bey was also surrendered to Troop C in Tolland on an active arrest warrant issued by Rockville Superior Court. He was processed according to state police policy and held on a $30,000 bond for driving to endanger/speeding/trucks/non-trucks, reckless driving: not greater than 85 mph, engaging police in pursuit, improper passing/safe distance/cutting in/inc speed being passed, and sixth-degree larceny: theft from a building.

May 3

Ramsey Medina, 31, was transported from to Rockville Superior Court so that an active arrest warrant for the accused could be served. He was placed under arrest on an active arrest warrant for assault on a public safety officer. Medina was processed and held on a $25,000 bond set by the court. He was then turned back over to the state marshals to be presented to the court.
