Connecticut State Police Recover Large Amount of Jewelry

Troopers from Troop C found the items in the woods off of I-84 in the Tolland area.

According to Connecticut State Police Lt. J. Paul Vance, state police from Troop C have recovered a large amount of jewelry that was found in the wood line off of I-84 in the Tolland area.  

Vance said that the loose jewelry was found in several identifiable containers and contained numerous gold necklaces, rings, and bracelets. He said that these jewelry items appear to be of substantial value.     

Anyone who had similar items stolen and can provide proof along with identifying the items are requested to contact Troop C in Tolland at 860-896-3222 ext. 8040.
