Car Accident In Somers Sends 2 To Hospitals

A car accident in Somers injured four people, with two being transported to area hospitals.

A one-car accident in Somers near the intersection of Hutton Road and 9th District Road left four people hurt and sent two to area hospitals but the injuries incurred were not life threatening, according to Connecticut State Police Troop C and the Somers Fire Department.

Somers Fire Chief Gary Schiessl said his department's repsonse to the accident was standard and characterized the accident as not seriously harmful to those injured in the crash.
