Burglary Reported in Somers on Wednesday

This is the fourth since last week.

Connecticut State Police say that on Wednesday, a burglary was reported on Pomeroy Lane in Somers.

According to Somers Resident State Trooper Sgt. Jose Claudio, the burglary was interrupted by the homeowner who was home sleeping at the time the suspects broke into the house.

Claudio said that she was awoken to noises and that there was never any interaction between the suspects and the woman - she reported that they fled when they realized she was in the home.

Police responded to the scene with canines and were unable to track anybody. The homeowner didn’t have a description of the suspects or any vehicle they may have been in.

This is the fourth burglary that has been reported in Somers since last Tuesday. All have taken place during the week and between 1 and 2 p.m.
